In Manitoba, patrons of the water park must pay 5% PST and 7% GST. How much PST and GST will Parker and his cousins pay?
The grade 6s all had different strategies to solve this problem so we ended up working through it together.
ReplyDeleteThe total amount for the park is 15 x $24 = $360. The PST they must pay is $25.20 and the GST is $18.00 making the total, $403.20.
