Week 23

There are 5 students in Mr. Parker's art class. He would like to give each student 6 stickers to use in a project they are doing. Mr. Parker looked in his desk drawer and found that he had 2 blue stickers, 3 times as many red stickers as blue stickers, and 4 more green stickers than red stickers.

Does Mr. Parker have enough stickers for everyone? If not, how many more does he need?

Imagine that Mr. Parker had 40 stickers all together. How many stickers would each student be able to get then?

1 comment:

  1. Mr Parker has 18 stickers, meaning he would need 12 more stickers to have enough.

If he had 40 stickers, then each student would get 8 stickers.
