The Williams family came to the game with $12. They bought 4 bags of popcorn at $0.75 each and 3 drinks at $1.00 each in the first half. At half time, Morgan found 6 quarters under the bleachers. The family went home with $3.45. How much did they spend in the second half?

The gas tank on Drew's boat holds 26 gallons. Drew filled it up by carrying gas to his boat in a 3 gallon can and a 2 gallon can. Tell 3 different ways he could have filled his tank using these 2 cans to carry gas.

Week 19

Four skiers - Dennis, Colton, Corbin, and Tyson - want to practice today. Practice sessions are from 8 to 10:40 A.M. only. Skiers must start the course 10 minutes apart and no more than 3 skiers may be on the course at once. Each skier is allowed to stay on the course for only 30 minutes. Can all 4 skiers practice today and finish before 9:40 A.M.?

Week 18

The Thunderbirds Basketball team is having a celebration meal after winning the big game against their rivals, the Mustangs. They're not thinking about it now, but the cost is adding up! Look at the bill for each player. Figure out how much each will spend by totaling the bill and adding a 6% tax and 15% tip. (Figure the tip on the food total only, not the total after tax is added.) What is the total bill for the team?
